Meditation Bench Sets 

Our kneeling meditation “seiza” bench sets are designed and crafted to provide outstanding support for those who prefer the traditional Zen kneeling meditation posture or those who have difficulty sitting cross-legged on a standard meditation cushion. The seiza bench is also ideal for long sits and retreats to alternate usage with a traditional zafu meditation cushion.

Crafted in solid mango hard wood, we offer meditation benches in three different styles; traditional seiza with solid legs, seiza bench with folding legs and “pi” style bench. The solid leg style seiza is slanted forward to help promote an anatomically correct back position that allows maximum comfort. The folding meditation bench legs are curved on the bottom so one can rock the bench into a position that best supports their preferred meditation posture.

Depending on individual preference, our meditation benches may be used with or without a bench cushion. Choose a set from our large selection of fabrics and colors shown below or pick a cushion and bench separately. All of our bench cushions are filled with plush organic kapok and fasten snugly to the bench with Velcro straps.
